We're working with a fantastic, creative marketing agency to help them find their next Junior UX/UI Designer. This role will join their growing digital team, working across globally recognised consumer brands and large-scale e-commerce projects. The business itself combines creativity, branding and digital experience design, giving you the chance to work in an environment where ideas, innovation and visual storytelling genuinely matter.
This is the kind of opportunity that doesn’t come around too often at junior level. Rather than being boxed into small internal projects, you’ll be joining a collaborative agency environment where you’ll work alongside experienced designers, developers and strategists on real digital products used by thousands of customers worldwide.
You’ll ideally have around 1+ years of UX/UI design experience already under your belt, either agency-side or in-house, and be looking for a role where you can properly develop your skills, build confidence, and gain exposure to bigger, more complex digital projects.
The Role
You’ll support the design process from early UX thinking through to polished UI execution, helping to create intuitive and visually engaging digital experiences across e-commerce and web platforms. Responsibilities will include:
- Creating wireframes, user flows and interactive prototypes
- Designing high-quality UI layouts and responsive digital experiences
- Supporting UX research and competitor analysis
- Preparing assets and design specifications for developers
- Collaborating closely with senior designers, developers and stakeholders
- Iterating and improving designs based on feedback and testing
What we’re looking for
- 1 or 2 years’ UX/UI design experience
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong visual design and attention to detail
- Good understanding of UX principles and user-centred design
- Strong Figma skills, including components, variants and prototyping
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
- Understanding of responsive design and e-commerce user journeys
- Someone collaborative, curious and keen to learn from experienced creatives
Why apply?
- Opportunity to work on globally recognised consumer brands
- Genuine progression and development within a growing agency
- Exposure to large-scale digital and e-commerce projects
- Hybrid working with flexibility built in
- Collaborative, creative and supportive team culture
- Modern office environment with regular socials and events
Alongside a competitive salary, this role offers the kind of exposure and development opportunities that are rare to find at junior level, particularly within a creative agency environment working on large-scale digital projects.

This role is based in Duxford, South Cambridgeshire with hybrid working available. It's therefore easily commutable from Cambridge, Royston, Saffron Walden, Newmarket, Haverhill, Bury St Edmunds and surrounding areas within Cambridgeshire, Essex or Hertfordshire.
