Do you have a year or two of experience in a marketing or communications team? Or are you a graduate currently working in an office environment but keen to break into marketing? As part of a small and busy communications team, you’ll contribute to external campaigns, media engagement, brand storytelling, and corporate initiatives that help build a clear and consistent voice across the organisation.

You will ideally have a relevant degree (e.g. marketing, communications, journalism, business, English, or similar). You’ll need either prior office experience or at least one year’s marketing or communications experience. A UK driving licence is essential.

Working closely with the head of communications, you’ll support a mix of internal and external communications, including:

  • Drafting and editing engaging copy for press releases, websites, social media, and internal materials
  • Helping to develop content for external partnerships, including charities and local community initiatives
  • Supporting the planning and execution of campaigns and media outreach
  • Managing and updating social media content calendars (particularly LinkedIn and X)
  • Helping to organise and promote events, exhibitions, and corporate activities

There is the option for hybrid working, but you must be able to drive and live within a commutable distance of the office based in Bedford.
