Please note: This role requires experience in B2B product marketing within a technical or technology-led environment. If your background is purely generalist marketing without experience in product positioning, go-to-market delivery or working with complex solutions, it’s unlikely this role will be the right fit.

We’re working with a leading B2B manufacturer in the communications technology space, developing solutions used in high-stakes, real-world environments. They’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager to take ownership of how their products are positioned, understood and brought to market. This is a role for someone who enjoys turning complex, technical propositions into something clear, relevant and commercially compelling, and working closely with sales teams to make sure that messaging actually lands.

The Role

Sitting at the centre of Product, Sales and Marketing, you’ll play a key role in shaping how solutions are taken to market and how they’re communicated across different audiences. You’ll be just as comfortable thinking strategically about positioning and go-to-market approach as you are creating content, supporting sales conversations, and refining messaging based on what’s working. A big part of the role is making sure everything joins up, from product narrative through to campaigns, sales enablement and partner communications.

What you’ll be doing

  • Define how products are positioned, ensuring messaging is clear, differentiated and grounded in real customer challenges
  • Work closely with Product and Sales to shape go-to-market plans and support launches
  • Create content that brings propositions to life, from thought leadership through to practical sales tools
  • Support sales teams with messaging, materials and training that help them convert opportunities
  • Ensure consistency across digital, campaigns and partner channels so messaging lands clearly in every market
  • Use customer and market insight to refine positioning and influence future direction

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in B2B or B2G product marketing, ideally within a technical or technology-led environment
  • A strong understanding of how to take products to market and support growth through clear positioning
  • Experience working closely with sales teams and creating messaging that supports real conversations
  • The ability to simplify technical detail into clear, engaging narratives
  • A collaborative approach, comfortable working across multiple stakeholders
  • Exposure to telecommunications, engineering, or mobile technology would be a bonus, but not essential.

Why apply?

This is a chance to step into a role where product marketing has real influence. You’ll be shaping how solutions are positioned globally, working closely with commercial teams, and playing a visible role in how the business grows. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys variety, ownership and being close to both product and revenue.

Location

This role is based in North Cambridge full time. It would therefore suit candidates who are in a commutable distance from Cambridge, Ely, Newmarket, Royston, Saffron Walden, Bury St Edmunds, Huntingdon, St Ives, and surrounding areas. There may be occasional UK and international travel involved.
