We’re working with a growing fashion retailer looking for a Social Media Manager who loves creating content, from coming up with the initial idea through to filming, editing and getting it live.

The Role
You’ll take ownership of day-to-day social media content across several fashion accounts, including:

Planning and creating content for TikTok, Instagram and Facebook

Filming and editing short-form video content
-
Appearing confidently in content when needed
-
Organising and running regular product shoots
-
Creating content in the office, at retail locations and on location
-
Writing and sending customer email newsletters
-
Tracking performance and using it to shape future content
-
Keeping content moving without needing a daily brief
This is a busy content role, so you’ll need to enjoy creating at pace rather than spending a week perfecting one video.
About You
The client is open-minded about where you have gained your experience. You might currently work for a consumer brand, be an independent content creator or have successfully grown your own social channels.
What matters most is that you:

Feel confident and natural in front of the camera

Understand TikTok and Instagram

Can plan and manage shoots independently

Are organised, self-sufficient and happy taking ownership

Enjoy working in a fast-moving, informal environment

Use social analytics to understand what is working
Fashion experience would be helpful, but it isn’t essential. Experience within lifestyle, beauty, food, hospitality or another consumer-led sector could work just as well.

Location
During probation, this role will be based full-time at the company’s Brentwood office, with some time spent on location for content shoots. After probation, the client is open to considering a hybrid working pattern. Candidates must therefore be able to commute to the Brentwood office five days a week. The office is commutable from areas including Brentwood, Basildon, Billericay, Chelmsford, Wickford, Rayleigh, Grays, Loughton, Epping, Chigwell, Hornchurch, Upminster, Dagenham, Ilford and wider East London.
