Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Staff Nurse (Outpatients) to join our Bank team at KIMS Hospital, supporting services across Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells. In this role, you will deliver outstanding, patient-centred care in line with the KIMS vision to champion healthcare at its best. Working closely with the Clinical Nurse Manager and wider multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan and deliver high‑quality clinical care while acting as a role model for best practice, patient experience and professional standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse who is passionate about patient experience, enjoys working flexibly, and thrives in a collaborative outpatient environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective, and individualised patient care, maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice and patient experience.
- Act as a role model and support junior staff, contributing to a positive learning and development culture.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and uphold patient confidentiality at all times.
- Champion infection prevention and control, quality governance, and evidence‑based practice.
- Support the Lead Sister and deputise for senior staff when required, contributing to effective team working and service delivery.
Requirements
- Be a Registered Nurse with post‑registration clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient setting.
- Have a strong patient‑focused approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have knowledge of clinical governance with evidence of continuous professional development.
- Hold a Postgraduate qualification or mentorship training in a relevant specialty.
- Have a demonstrable ability to manage challenging situations calmly and effectively.
