Shifts: Monday – Saturday 8am – 8pm on a rota basis (1 Saturday in 4).

KIMS Hospital are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Outpatient Sister / Charge Nurse to support and lead our outpatient teams in delivering safe, caring, effective, responsive, and well‐led patient care.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead and support the day-to-day operational management of the outpatient department, ensuring safe and effective service delivery.
- Lead, inspire, and develop the outpatient nursing team through strong leadership and training.
- Champion and enhance patient experience, ensuring consistently high standards of care, communication, and engagement.
- Drive clinical governance, compliance, and quality improvement, ensuring readiness for regulatory inspections (including CQC).
- Contribute to service development, innovation, and strategic planning, supporting continuous improvement and efficiency.
Person Specification
Essential
- Be a Registered Adult Nurse.
- Have significant post-registration clinical experience in an outpatient clinic or hospital environment.
- Have experience working at a senior level within an outpatient setting.
- Have strong knowledge of clinical governance and proven leadership ability.
Desirable
- Hold a Paediatric Nursing Qualification.
- Hold a mentorship qualification.
- Have experience in change management and service improvement initiatives.
