Location: KIMS Hospital, Maidstone

Contract: Full Time, Permanent 40 Hours Per Week

Working Pattern: 07:30 – 18:00 between Monday and Saturday. Saturdays are 1 per month on average.

Salary: £30,400 per annum.

We are expanding due to internal promotions, and we're looking for dedicated and skilled Operating Department Practitioners (ODP) to join us in delivering the highest standards of perioperative care.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert scrub support for general and orthopaedic cases.
  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
  • Collaborating effectively with departments such as Imaging, Wards, and Sterile Services.
  • Ensuring patient dignity, comfort, and confidentiality at all times.
  • Upholding ethical and legal standards in your own practice and that of colleagues.

Who we’re looking for:

  • As a Theatre Practitioner at KIMS Hospital, you will be a strong, patient-focused team player with a collaborative approach to achieving goals.
  • Be a qualified ODP with current HCPC registration.
  • Have a passion for high‐quality, patient‐centred care.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development and enthusiasm for learning.
  • Have experience working as an Orthopaedic Scrub practitioner.
  • Have post-registration Scrub experience (NHS or Private).
