At KIMS Hospital we have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Secretary to join our Primary Care team. This is an excellent development opportunity for someone with administration or secretarial experience who is keen to progress within medical administration. Working as part of our busy Private GP Service, you will support consultants, GPs and patients to ensure a smooth and professional service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage appointments, bookings and patient enquiries across Primary Care and Pain Management services.
- Produce and format clinical correspondence, transcriptions and letters accurately and efficiently.
- Support online appointment triaging and diary management.
- Liaise with patients, consultants, and internal departments to ensure an excellent patient journey.
- Maintain accurate patient records, scanning and filing documentation using various software systems.
Who Are we looking for
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a compassionate and professional approach.
- Ability to prioritise workload, multitask and work effectively under pressure.
- Previous administration or secretarial experience.
- Touch typing and/or Excel knowledge.
