Night Housekeeping Assistant | KIMS Hospital, Maidstone
32.5 Hours per week – 9 month Fixed Term Contract | £21479.90 per annum (this is the equivalent of a full time salary of £26436.80)

KIMS Hospital is recruiting a Housekeeping Assistant working nights for a fixed term of 9 months.

- Shifts will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8pm – 4.30am
- Role Responsibilities
- To provide a high-quality housekeeping service to all areas including patient rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring that excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene are both achieved and maintained.
- Support the housekeeping team in delivering of excellent patient service across all areas and departments of the hospital.
- To work within infection control guidelines at all times when working within clinical areas of the hospital.
- Ensure cleaning materials are used according to the relevant COSHH requirements.
Person Specification
- Have previous housekeeping / cleaning experience within a similar environment.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possess some knowledge of COSHH, the guidelines that surround this legislation and how these would be applied within a clinical setting.
- Demonstrate a flexible approach, responding to the needs of the department.
- Be a good team player.
