At KIMS Hospital, we're looking for a PP Compliance Co-ordinator to play a key role in managing our Consultant Practising Privileges process, whilst also providing high-quality PA support to our Medical Director and Chief Nurse.
This is a varied and rewarding role that sits at the heart of our Medical Governance function, ensuring our consultants remain compliant with regulatory requirements and supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.
What you’ll be doing
As our PP Compliance Co-ordinator, you'll be responsible for coordinating all aspects of Consultant Practising Privileges, ensuring documentation is accurate, up to date and compliant with the Medical Practitioners Assurance Framework (MPAF).
Your responsibilities will include
- Managing Consultant Practising Privileges applications, renewals and compliance records.
- Maintaining consultant databases, digital records and emergency contact information.
- Monitoring consultant documentation including appraisal, revalidation, indemnity insurance, DBS checks and licence agreements.
- Managing consultant training requirements and authorised changes to Scope of Practice.
- Acting as the main point of contact for consultant practising privilege queries.
- Producing reports and updates for Medical Governance Committee and Quality Governance meetings.
- Coordinating the Medical Advisory Committee (MAC), including agendas, minutes and action logs.
- Supporting Resident Doctors (RDs) onboarding, rota oversight.
- Providing professional PA support to the Medical Director and Chief Nurse, including diary management, meeting coordination and administrative support.
- Maintaining relevant policies, procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Providing cross-cover for the Hospital Director's PA when required.

You’ll be an experienced administrator who thrives in a professional environment and enjoys working with a wide range of stakeholders, including consultants and senior leaders.
You’ll also have
- Previous experience in an administrative, PA or governance role, ideally within healthcare.
- Experience communicating confidently with Consultants, Clinicians or Senior Leaders.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to work independently whilst contributing positively to a wider team.
- Excellent discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
- A proactive approach with the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems.
