As a BUPA Health Advisor, you'll conduct various health assessments and collaborate with patients to help them make the necessary changes for a longer, healthier, and happier life. This is a full-time role working at KIMS Hospital in Maidstone, and any other facilities as required. If you're someone who can inspire and motivate positive change, we'd love to hear from you!
Role Responsibilities- Conduct tests as part of the health assessment, including electrocardiograms, blood sampling via venepuncture, blood pressure measurements, body measurements, and utilizing the body stat machine.
- Provide personalized lifestyle advice tailored to the patient's needs, considering their health risks, health assessment findings, and their goals for health and wellbeing.
- Ensure all equipment is prepared in advance for each health assessment session, and maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment afterward.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience by prioritizing the patient at the heart of their health assessment.
- Hold a post-secondary education vocational qualification in a relevant subject.
- Have experience of performing measurement or assessment in health and fitness.
- Have experience of giving patient advice in a healthy living/lifestyle context, including physical activity, nutrition, smoking, alcohol, sleep, and stress management.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Have experience working as a Health Advisor in a clinical setting.
