As a Senior Cath Lab Cardiac Physiologist, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of exceptional cardiac care within our Interventional Suite. Working closely with the Lead Physiologist, Interventional Suite Manager, and Consultant Cardiologists, you will contribute to the smooth running of Cath Lab operations and ensure the highest standards of patient care are consistently achieved.

Role Responsibilities
  • Deliver and support high-quality cardiac procedures including pacing, angiography, PCI, and electrophysiological studies.
  • Support the Lead Physiologist in the day-to-day management of the Cath Lab and Interventional Suite.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC, MHRA, and clinical governance standards, promoting patient safety and service excellence.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient experience and service efficiency.
  • Contribute to training, mentoring, and professional development within the cardiorespiratory team.
Person Specification
  • Degree (or equivalent) in Cardiac Physiology.
  • Minimum 2–5 years’ post-registration experience within a Cath Lab or cardiorespiratory environment.
  • Proven experience assisting with pacing, angiography, electrophysiological studies, and PCI procedures.
  • Experience in change management or service improvement.
