KIMS Hospital are looking for an Inpatient Physiotherapy Technical Instructor to join our dedicated inpatient physical therapy team. In this role, you will work closely with qualified physiotherapists to support patients recovering from elective surgery, helping them mobilise safely, follow rehabilitation programmes, and prepare for discharge. This role is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. Shifts will be 8am – 4pm or 9am – 5pm with rotational weekend working required.
Main duties of the job
- Support the inpatient physical therapy team in assessing and assisting patients following elective surgical procedures.
- Assist patients with mobility, rehabilitation exercises and recovery programmes under the guidance of a qualified physical therapist.
- Contribute to safe and effective discharge planning by promoting patient independence and arranging appropriate equipment where required.
- Maintain accurate clinical and administrative records in line with professional standards and hospital policies.
- Deliver a consistently high standard of patient care, ensuring dignity, privacy and a positive patient experience at all times.
