As a result of service expansion we are recruiting a BUPA Health Advisor where you\’ll conduct various health assessments and collaborate with patients to help them make the necessary changes for a longer, healthier, and happier life.

This is a full-time role working at Lyca Health, Orpington, and any other facilities as required.

Role Responsibilities

As a BUPA Health Advisor you will:

  • Conduct tests as part of the health assessment, including electrocardiograms, blood sampling via venepuncture, blood pressure measurements, body measurements, and utilizing the body stat machine.
  • Provide personalized lifestyle advice tailored to the patient\’s needs, considering their health risks, health assessment findings, and their goals for health and wellbeing.
  • Ensure all equipment is prepared in advance for each health assessment session, and maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment afterward.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience by prioritizing the patient at the heart of their health assessment.

Person Specification

  • Hold a post-secondary education vocational qualification in a relevant subject.
  • Have experience of performing measurement or assessment in a health and fitness.
  • Have experience of giving patient advice in a healthy living / lifestyle context, including physical activity, nutrition, smoking, alcohol, sleep and stress management.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Have experience working as a Health Advisor in a clinical setting.
