Administrative Assistant – Centralised Bookings Team
KIMS Hospital – Newnham Court Way, Maidstone

Are you ready to start your career in healthcare administration while earning a nationally recognised qualification? KIMS Hospital, the largest independent hospital in Kent, is offering an exciting opportunity to join our Centralised Bookings Hub as an Apprentice Administrative Assistant.

This apprenticeship will give you hands-on experience in a busy, supportive team, while you study towards your Customer Service Level 2 qualification. You’ll gain the skills and confidence you need to progress your career in administration and healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Learn to accurately record and update patient bookings on our Patient Administration System.
  • Support the bookings process with timely and professional communication.
  • Manage emails and enquiries quickly and efficiently.
  • Work as part of a friendly, fast-paced team dedicated to excellent patient care.

What we’re looking for

You don’t need previous experience – we’ll support and train you every step of the way. What’s most important is that you are:

  • Enthusiastic and motivated to learn.
  • Organised, with great attention to detail.
  • Confident using IT systems (basic Word and Excel is helpful, but full training will be given).
  • A strong communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and a team player.
