We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join our team, providing a comprehensive HR advisory service across KIMS Hospital and the wider LYCA Health group. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships while delivering high-quality HR support.
About the Role
As an HR Advisor, you will act as a key point of contact for managers and employees, offering expert guidance across all areas of HR and employee relations. You will manage a varied caseload and play an active role in supporting organisational initiatives and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for employee relations queries, escalating where appropriate
- Manage a range of ER casework including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, performance, and redundancy
- Support formal meetings and hearings, including minute taking and documentation
- Provide guidance on maternity, paternity, and adoption processes
- Support organisational change, including restructures and TUPE transfers
- Deliver monthly HR inductions for new starters
- Oversee contracts of employment and ensure accuracy of HR documentation
- Support payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely updates
- Manage leaver processes, including exit interviews and reporting insights
- Produce monthly HR analytics and reports for business leaders
- Contribute to staff engagement, pay, and reward projects
- Deliver HR workshops to upskill managers in employee relations
- Maintain and update HR policies in line with current legislation
- Support implementation and optimisation of the HRIS system
About You
You will be a confident communicator with strong organisational skills and the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 4 years' experience in an HR role (ideally at Advisor level)
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or above)
- Experience managing employee relations casework
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Experience using HR systems and producing reports
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong IT skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
Desirable
- Experience within a healthcare or multi-site environment
- Experience supporting HRIS implementation
