We are looking for an authentic and driven Full Time Spa Therapist to join us at Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel & Spa on a 15‑month Maternity Cover Fixed Term Contract and embrace your unique, best self to provide our guests with heartfelt human connections!

The Spa at Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel & Spa is a Scottish escape for guests and visitors alike, offering a multi‑sensory experience focused on relaxation and self‑care. Our recent refurbishment has introduced new sustainable elements such as a brand‑new Snow Bliss shower and upgraded pool and sauna facilities. We look for team members who showcase what we offer, create sophisticated and transformative experiences, and embrace sustainability and natural elements.

By joining the Spa as a Spa Therapist, you can expect 40 hours per week over 5 days supporting your work/life balance. In addition, you will receive gratuities; excellent training and development opportunities (such as Ishga, Oskia, or a hot Stone qualification); a family and friends spa discount; and complimentary use of the Spa quarterly.

• Make it count – we give you all the tools you need to create ridiculously personalised experiences for our guests every day.

Responsibilities

• Guest interactions – you will ensure all guests are welcomed to the Spa in a 5* manner, educate guests on our offerings and discuss all options with them.
• Promoting our products – you will promote and up‑sell our treatments and the large range of products available, recommending products based on your knowledge gained through your interaction with the guest.

Qualifications

• Availability to work 5 shifts per week (40 hours contract).
• Previous experience as a Spa Therapist within a destination Spa or within a Hotel Spa.
• Ishga and Oskia training will be provided, but prior experience of Ishga and/or Oskia is highly desirable.
• Drive to produce results; we work together within the Kimpton family to provide guests with extremely personal experiences and human connection.
• A warm and authentic personality, with a can‑do attitude and commitment to service.
• Overall, willingness to work within our team to embrace our service and delight our guests!
