At Kimpton Fitzroy London we are looking for a Full Time Pastry Commis Chef to join our culinary team in our luxury hotel in Central London. A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join our fantastic culinary team as our Pastry Commis Chef. Working 40 hours per week, you will be working closely with our talented chefs giving you the opportunity to learn and gain valuable experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting the pastry chef in creating desserts, petits-fours, and breads in our well-equipped pastry kitchen.
- Preparing and baking pastries, desserts, cakes, cookies, sweets, and pies according to recipes and quality standards.
- Ensuring that the pastry and bakery areas are clean and well maintained and following the cleaning checklists.
We are looking for someone with a genuine passion, a creative flair, an eye for detail, and an understanding of what it takes to provide outstanding levels of guest service.
