To support the delivery, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s Quality, Safety, Health & Environmental (QSHE) systems across all divisions, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, client requirements, and industry accreditations.
Experience & Skills
- Experience in construction or MEP environment (essential)
- Understanding of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) (desirable)
- Experience with audits, accreditations, or compliance systems
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to work across multiple projects and stakeholders
Essential Skills & Experience
- Ability to use Excel, Word, Email and PowerPoint.
- Able to create relevant spreadsheets and formulae, create and deliver presentations to team members.
- Actively promote continuous professional development of all.
Duties
Integrated Management System (IMS)
- Maintain and control the company IMS (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)
- Ensure document control, versioning, and accessibility
- Support rollout and consistent use across all divisions
- Assist in updating policies, procedures, and forms
Training & Competency
- Develop and maintain company-wide training matrix
- Monitor training compliance and expiries (CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, etc.)
- Coordinate and book training courses
- Support competency checks for staff and subcontractors
Supply Chain & Onboarding
- Manage subcontractor pre‑qualification process
- Ensure all subcontractors meet compliance requirements
- Coordinate onboarding of new employees and agency labour
- Review and track RAMS documentation (with operational teams)
Accreditations & PQQs
- Maintain company accreditations (Constructionline, CHAS, SafeContractor, etc.)
- Manage renewal processes and submissions
- Support completion of client PQQs and compliance documentation
- Maintain central library of standard responses and evidence
Audits & Compliance Monitoring
- Plan and carry out site safety and quality inspections
- Record findings and track closeout of actions
- Support internal audits for ISO compliance
- Assist QSHE Manager with external audits
Divisional Support
- Work closely with QSHE Champions in each division
- Provide guidance on IMS compliance and site requirements
- Support Turnkey projects with principal contractor compliance processes
