Kimbolton School is seeking to recruit a HR Officer, to work closely with other members of the HR department to administer HR procedures across both the Senior and Preparatory Schools.
This varied role requires someone who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities and provide responsive service.
The main duties of this role include supporting the HR manager with the implementation of an appraisal/performance management system across the whole school, providing generalist first line HR advice to line managers, assisting the HR manager with HR casework, and assisting with absence management, including monitoring the implementation of the School's absence procedures and supporting managers with the management of sickness and other types of absence.
Is it essential that the successful candidate have strong administration skills, experience of working in a busy generalist HR, Recruitment or administrative role, and knowledge of employment law and its application, alongside excellent time management skills and a pro-active attitude.
Experience of working in a school or educational environment, using i Trent and supporting payroll is desirable, but not essential.
