KSE has made strong progress in recent years, drawing on the unique history and heritage of Kimbolton Castle, with the site hosting weddings, private functions, conferences, filming and tours. The commercial manager will develop existing activities and identify new opportunities to build on the progress of the KSE's revenue and profitability, particularly during the school holidays. Main duties of the role include working closely with the marketing department to promote the school's facilities and commercial offer, managing bookings from start to finish, managing budgets and working with the Kimbolton School Parents Association to deliver joint activities.
This is a wide-ranging role and requires a hands‑on approach. The successful candidate will need to work well under pressure, with excellent organization and the ability to communicate with clarity an essential skill. Proven success in generating commercial income is essential, as is experience of managing events and venue bookings.
Kimbolton School is seeking to appoint a commercial manager to lead the development and delivery of the School's commercial activity. The purpose of this role is to increase sustainable non‑fee income through the consolidation and expansion of activities delivered by Kimbolton School enterprises (KSE), the schools enterprise arm.
