This role will be part of Kimberly Clark's International Family Care and Professional (IFP) business—an organization rooted in purpose and innovation that has built a legacy with global impact. As Kimberly-Clark forms a strategic partnership with Suzano to create a world-class international tissue and professional products company, this role is proposed to transfer to the new venture once the transaction closes, anticipated in mid-2026, subject to consultation and other applicable legal requirements. This is a rare opportunity to help shape a new global leader backed by two industry powerhouses. You’ll be part of a high-potential business that combines Kimberly-Clark’s iconic brands and commercial excellence with Suzano’s industrial and sustainability leadership.

The Role

The HRBP role will design and deliver people strategies to strengthen culture, elevate the talent agenda and power business performance at our Barrow Plant. As a key member of the site leadership team, you’ll inspire, guide and challenge thinking ensuring that people priorities are fully aligned with the wider business vision. Additionally working alongside Centres of Excellence to deploy the Global people agenda. This role will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Provide expert HR advice, coaching and support to our Senior leadership team and Team Leaders across Barrow Plant.
  • Drive and accelerate team development, working closely with the IFP Talent Team and Global L&D teams to create impactful succession and development programmes for Plant roles.
  • Deliver key HR initiatives including workforce planning, restructuring, resourcing, talent management, pay and reward, employee relations, employee engagement and performance management.
  • Understand and champion the relevant global/regional processes and programmes designed to accelerate K-C culture and performance and adapt to these to a localised need.
  • Support managers in dealing with complex casework, performance, attendance and employee relations issues.
  • Draw on patterns and issues that emerge from ER cases to influence decision making.
  • Partner with our recognised union in local consultation forums to foster positive employee relations across the Plant.
  • Work closely with Managers and the Talent Acquisition Manager with regards to workforce planning and the development of resource plans.
  • Analyse trends from people metrics to lead and influence decision-making across Manufacturing.
  • Lead on change management activity including organisational redesign.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Experienced HRBP with strong influencing, communication, networking and analytical skills to support leaders in engaging and enabling their teams to high performance.
  • Experience of partnering strongly with senior leaders and all levels of managers with the ability to challenge.
  • Exceptional influencing skills and interpersonal sensitivity that will foster effective cross cultural and geographical partnerships.
  • Experience of working with a HRIS (HR Information System), preferably Workday.
  • Experience of launching, completing and implementing HR projects with multiple stakeholders and employees.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment legislation and proven experience of managing complex casework.
  • Knowledge of Talent attraction and talent management best practices.
  • Experience of working with trade unions or workers councils.

Preferred Experience

  • Degree educated (BA / BSc) or CIPD L5 and above.
  • Experience of working in manufacturing, distribution, FMCG or large matrix-organised environment.
