Job Description
An Electrical Engineer role has arisen at Barrow Mill. You will work as part of the Tissue Machine Team, providing engineering leadership and coordination, taking ownership of all aspects of Electrical Engineering aligned to the operational needs of the assets. Your responsibilities include:
- Leading the successful implementation of the electrical aspects of TM5.
- Providing real‑time leadership on shift, ensuring people, operational, and business requirements are achieved and that the operation complies with Company, Local and Statutory requirements.
- Coordinating site activities during out‑of‑day hours and weekends.
- Developing preventative and predictive maintenance programs to support the asset operating commitments.
- Ensuring the practical application of best maintenance practice in the asset area.
- Coaching and developing team members and electrical technicians.

You have a background as an electrical engineer and will provide engineering leadership and coordination within the Tissue Machine team.
Qualifications
- Formal Engineering qualifications, typically to degree level (minimum HNC).
- Relevant experience in an FMCG environment and within the industry.
- Experience in an Electrical Technical role in a manufacturing facility.
- Good understanding of instrumentation, pneumatics, hydraulics and combustion systems.
- Knowledge of DCS systems.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Experience developing preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
