Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute global category strategies for key marketing spend (Media, Creative, Market Research, Licensing).
  • Assess supplier landscape and market trends to drive sustained value for the category.
  • Manage, track and report on Marketing Services spend and sourcing initiatives in collaboration with regional procurement teams.
  • Engage cross‑regional senior stakeholders on Marketing Services needs and strategy.
  • Lead global category strategies aligned with business needs, ensuring adherence to procurement policies.
  • Drive long‑term value through strategic category planning and negotiation.
  • Develop and maintain global supplier relationships and ensure best‑in‑class delivery.
  • Negotiate with global suppliers and coach regional managers on key negotiations, leveraging digital sourcing tools.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to align priorities and maintain compliance.
  • Create and lead global marketing procurement communities to support regional buyers.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of category knowledge and processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of procurement and category management experience, ideally within a CPG company.
  • Strong category strategy, negotiation, and delivery skills with a proven track record.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Ability to influence at all levels and work effectively across global regions, cultures, and matrix organizations.
  • Working knowledge of COUPA, MS Office, and other procurement tools.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
