We are looking for a Clinical Specialist to join our clinical team. This role is suitable for candidates operating at Band 6/7 or equivalent and will work closely with the National Clinical Manager to deliver high-quality clinical education and in-field support.
The RoleAs a Clinical Specialist, you will support the commercial team by delivering clinical training on the use of Taurolock antimicrobial locks across a range of therapy areas. You will promote best practice in the management of vascular access devices and act as a trusted clinical expert for customers. This is a home-based role requiring regular travel to customer sites, conferences, and events across the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver in-field clinical training to key customers and target centres.
- Provide expert clinical support and respond to customer questions relating to Taurolock products and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the commercial, clinical, and marketing teams to support new and existing customers.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with clinicians, key decision-makers, Key Opinion Leaders and other stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, clinical evidence, technology, and market developments.
- Interpret and communicate clinical papers, data, and best practice clearly and confidently.
- Attend and participate in conferences, congresses and professional events as required.
You will be a confident registered nurse with strong clinical credibility, a passion for education, and the ability to work autonomously in a field-based role.
- NMC registered Nurse
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Teaching and Assessment qualification
- Minimum of 3 years’ post-registration clinical experience
- Experience in vascular access devices and/or infection prevention and control is desirable
- Band 6/7 or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of anatomy & physiology and infection prevention and control
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to deliver engaging educational sessions.
- Ability to interpret clinical evidence and explain medical concepts clearly.
- Highly organised, self-motivated and able to manage your own workload and diary.
- Full UK driving licence.
