Worcester
We are looking for Kitting Team Members to join us at our site in Worcester. You will play a crucial role in supporting the manufacturing process by accurately picking, packing, and preparing components and materials into kits for the production line.
Working Pattern & Pay:
Shift is 7:00am – 7:30pm Thursday to Saturday on, a rest day on Sunday, then Monday to Wednesday on, and then seven days off.
Duties:
- Accurately pick parts and materials according to production orders and bill of materials.
- Prepare kits for production in line with scheduled demand
- Ensure correct labelling, packaging, and traceability of all components
- Carry out inventory checks and report stock discrepancies
- Support cycle counts and stock rotation activities
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitting and stores area
- Always follow company health & safety and quality procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience within a kitting, stores, manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Good attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Basic computer skills and ability to use stock management systems
- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A good level of numeracy, literacy and co-ordination
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Transport is essential due to location
