About the position
We are looking for two Travel Advisors to join our growing team in Bristol. Working hours are 37.5 per week including weekdays and some Saturdays.
The primary role of a Travel Advisor is to deliver outstanding customer service and plan custom-designed travel itineraries to make our customers\’ travel dreams come true. The KILROY Way!
You will be part of a team where everyone works with individual sales budget and goals, while still focusing on teamwork in a customer-centric approach.
About you
Besides being passionate about travel – like the rest of us – we are looking for you who:
- Experience from working in a similar role is highly preferable.
- Ideally have a solid travel experience (backpacking or similar) preferably from various continents.
- Are confident in the job being a sales job
- Are ambitious and goal-oriented
- Are responsible, structured, and able to work independently
- Are committed and willing to go the extra mile when necessary
- Are good at keeping calm despite hectic days and many tasks
- Are always eager to learn and develop
- Are outgoing and with strong communication abilities
- Like working in a high-performing culture and taking responsibility for your own development
We are looking for
- Experience from working as a travel consultant or in a similar capacity is a must. Ideally from a well-known UK brand. Experience from working with a GDS (Sabre, Amadeus or Travelport is highly valuable)
- Travel experience (backpacking or similar), preferably including several continents and of various lengths
- Experience working with reservation systems (we use Sabre)
- A track record of accomplishments in sales or customer service experience
- Fluent in English – both reading and writing
