Our client in Bristol are seeking an additionalL&D (Learning & Development) Partner.
They continue to have a fantastic year full of growth and opportunity company wide. They are based in Bristol ( Chipping Sodbury ) though they do have other offices around the country and this role will require regular travel to business units , sites and training venues across England so a willingness to travel to other offices is required from time to time .
£45.7K + car allowance £7K private health, pension to 7%, plus profit share ( last year 12%)
- They have been an established and leading property services company for over 75 years, based across England and Wales, in over 18 locations and 32 Business Units, so very well established . So a background working with construction , property services or Trades people would be ideal .

Job Purpose
- To support development of a coaching culture where we support and develop our people and give them opportunity partnering with line managers at all levels to be great at developing people across a specified Product and/or Function whilst being flexible as required to support other areas as part of the Business Partner Team, supporting units with development planning and solutions, and designing development solutions on project basis
- To develop all and identify and develop talent across a specified Product and/or Function Competencies; assessment via objective testing measures; career pathing; and talent development
- To support the drive for consistency – Improve compliance to their systems & processes
- To ensure the workforce is qualified to deliver services to customers in compliance with the Building Safety Act, developing skills matrices for each unit
- To support behaviours framework – behavioural skills training and team development
- To develop management and leadership capabilities across the business
- To support induction processes across a specified Product or Function whilst being flexible as required to support other areas as part of the BP Team
- To support the upskill trades for effectiveness and efficiency (technical skills)
- To facilitate solutions and deliver training
- To support with Performance Management and career development
- To support engagement and PD interventions IIP and Pulse Survey, driving awareness and response rates
Note: This business partnering role will require regular travel to business units, sites and training venues
Key Accountabilities
- Identify, design and implement organisational and business unit people development solutions to ensure the business has the skills and capabilities to achieve its strategy.
- Identify and implement opportunities for performance improvement (at an organisational, product and personal level) using a range of OD ( Organisation Development ) theories, tools and techniques.
- Act as the primary PD contact for key business areas, building strong relationships to understand their people and performance needs..
- Collaborate with managers to establish processes for product skills development, including just-in-time training, buddying, and upskilling initiatives.
- Design and deliver behavioural skills training programmes
- Deliver coaching and mentoring development to build leadership and management capability across the organisation
- Facilitate team development sessions to enhance group performance and cohesion.
- Support the creation and promotion of career pathways and development opportunities for employees.
- Lead and contribute to PD project work, including researching, designing, and delivering development initiatives to meet business needs.
- Identify opportunities for innovation in training and development practices to enhance organisational effectiveness.
- Utilise funding and events from trade partnerships to provide timely and relevant training opportunities that align with operational priorities
- Promote the recording and visibility of employee skills and qualifications through a centralised portal or system.
- Provide accurate and up to date L&D information to stakeholders, utilising this data to inform future activity.
- Work closely with the PD team to deliver key organisational development projects, including culture, compliance, and leadership programmes.
- Contribute to the evaluation of PD interventions, ensuring they meet business objectives and deliver measurable impact.
- Engage employees in PD initiatives through compelling and relatable internal marketing
- Act as a culture champion – influencing and driving values and behaviours across the business.

Prior Experience:

- Coaching and mentoring experience, with the ability to develop leadership capabilities
Technical Skills
- IT literacy, confident in use of MS Office applications, and IT design software; Strong project management skills; the ability to research, design, and implement OD initiatives. Knowledge of Learning Technologies & Systems
Intellectual Ability
- Relevant qualification in OD, L&D, or HR desirable.
- Accreditation in coaching or mentoring advantageous
- Accredited in OD/L&D diagnostics
