Kilnbridge is hiring a Slinger Signaller experienced with 100 tonne telescopic crawler cranes to join its team working on a long-term infrastructure project in Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected contractor delivering on a major UK project.
Position Details
- Position: Slinger Signaller – Crawler Cranes
- Location: Suffolk
- Start: 01/06/2026
- Duration: 4 months+
- Pay rate: £21 per hour
- Hours: 50 hrs/week (paid)
- Days: Mon-Fri (no weekends at present)
- Lodgement allowance: £50 per night (4 nights per week)
Responsibilities
- Work with crawler crane to offload Dycell modular concrete scour protection mattresses.
- Lifting and placing modular concrete scour protection mattresses alongside groundworks teams.
- Lifting of geotextile rolls and bags filled with aggregate for the construction of shingle bunds.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Slinger Signaller with crawler cranes.
- Competent in slinging and signalling operations, ensuring safe and efficient lifting activities on site.
- Experience working for Tier 1 contractors on large scale developments as a Slinger Signaller.
- Competent CPCS – Slinger Signaller.
- Must have Safety Critical Medical – SEQOSHS Accredited – Essential.
- Willing to undergo a DBS / Criminal Record Check (CRC) – Essential.
- Must be able to provide proof of address – Essential.
- 5 year work history – Essential.
- Valid Full UK Driving Licence.
