Kilnbridge is hiring Steel Fixers to join our team working on a long-term infrastructure project in Reading. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected contractor delivering on a major UK project. Working hours:7:30-18:00 10 Hours paid per day Rate: £24 CIS Responsibilities * Maintaining tools and equipment: They ensure that their tools and machinery are in good working order * Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings: Steel fixers read and understand construction plans to determine the type and placement of steel reinforcement. * Cutting and bending steel: They use hand and power tools to cut and shape steel bars and mesh to the required dimensions. * Securing steel reinforcement: They tie or weld the steel together, ensuring it is properly positioned and secured within concrete forms. * Working with other construction professionals: Steel fixers collaborate with engineers, steel erectors, and other tradespeople to ensure the project is completed efficiently and accurately.
