Kilnbridge is hiring a Crane Supervisor experienced with 100 tonne telescopic crawler cranes to join its team working on a long-term infrastructure project in Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected contractor delivering on a major UK project.
Position: Crane Supervisor – Crawler Cranes
Location: Suffolk
Start: 01/06/2026
Duration: 4 months+
Pay rate: £25 per hour
Hours: 50 hrs/week (paid)
Days: Mon–Fri (no weekends at present)
Lodge allowance: £50 per night (4 nights per week)
Responsibilities:
- Supervising lifting operations with crawler cranes to offload Dycell modular concrete scour protection mattresses
- As the Crane Supervisor, overseeing lifting and placement of modular concrete scour protection mattresses alongside groundworks teams
- Supervising the lifting of geotextile rolls and geotextile bags filled with aggregate for the construction of shingle bunds
- Ensuring all lifting activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with lifting plans and site procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Crane Supervisor with crawler cranes
- Strong knowledge of lifting operations, ensuring safe and compliant execution on site
- Experience working for Tier 1 contractors on large-scale developments (desirable)
- Valid CPCS Crane Supervisor qualification
- Must have a Safety Critical Medical (SEQOHS accredited) – essential
- Willing to undergo a DBS / Criminal Record Check (CRC) – essential
- Must be able to provide proof of address – essential
- 5-year work history – essential
- Valid full UK driving licence
