Kilnbridge is hiring an experienced Crane Supervisor to join our team on a 2.5 year infrastructure project in Mottram in Longdendale - A57, Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a competent Crane Supervisor to join a progressive contractor delivering on a UK project. Position: Crane Supervisor Location: Mottram in Longdendale, Manchester - A57 Duration: 2.5 years Pay rate: £25 Hours: 50 hrs/week (paid) - Mon- Fri Weekends: Not available at present Daily Start: 07:30 Daily Finish: 18:00 Start: ASAP Crane Supervisor Responsibilities: * Suitable Crane Supervisor must be present and active during all lifting operations, making sure the team follows the designated lifting plan or RAMS * Suitable Crane Supervisor must be able to direct crane operators, slinger-signallers, and lead safety briefings or toolbox talks before operations begin * Suitable Crane Supervisor must check that ground conditions are safe verify equipment inspection dates, and set up exclusion zones * Suitable Crane Supervisor must maintain clear communication between the lifting team and site management * Report lifting related hazards, defects and incidents promptly * Work closely with the Appointed Person to ensure lifting operations are executed as planned Crane Supervisor Requirements: * CPCS A62 - ALL DUTIES or NPORS N405 - ALL DUTIES * Must have a SSSTS Certificate * Must have an in date Safety Critical Medical Certificate - SEQOHS accredited * Must have a good understanding of lift plans, RAMS amd safe systems of work * Must have good communication and leadership skills * Must have the ability to identify unsafe lifting conditions and stop operations where necessary Apply now via CV-Library or contact Kilnbridge directly to join our team.
