Tyrone, BT76 0AA 12 hours per week, Saturday & Sunday 11am-5pm, weekend cover. £13.00 per hour Experience in care/ nursing home setting an advantage but full training provided. Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join our team in St Macartans Nursing Home. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing a warm welcome, excellent customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. The position suitable for individuals with prior administrative experience or office experience looking to work in a care environment.
Duties
- Greet visitors and direct them appropriately, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
- Answer incoming calls promptly, using proper phone etiquette, and redirect as necessary
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and organising documents
- Maintain organised workspaces and ensure the reception area remains tidy and professional
- Support other departments with clerical duties as required
Skills
- Proven office or administrative experience, with strong organisational skills
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent phone etiquette with clear communication skills
- Ability to multitask effectivey while maintaining attention to detail
- Good organisational skills to manage schedules and correspondence efficiently
