Kilmorey Care is now looking for an enthusiastic, part-time Receptionist to join our team in St Macartans Nursing Home, Clogher, Co. Tyrone, BT76 0AA.

12 hours per week, Saturday & Sunday 11am-5pm, weekend cover. £13.00 per hour.

Experience in care/nursing home setting an advantage but full training provided.

Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join our team in St Macartans Nursing Home. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing a warm welcome, excellent customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. The position is suitable for individuals with prior administrative experience or office experience looking to work in a care environment.

Duties

  • Greet visitors and direct them appropriately, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly, using proper phone etiquette, and redirect as necessary.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and organising documents.
  • Maintain organised workspaces and ensure the reception area remains tidy and professional.
  • Support other departments with clerical duties as required.

Skills

  • Proven office or administrative experience, with strong organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent phone etiquette with clear communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Good organisational skills to manage schedules and correspondence efficiently.
