We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to residents in our St Joseph's Nursing Home in Warrenpoint.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support clients with mobility and daily routines in accordance with personalised care plans Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life Help with feeding as required Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to senior staff Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and team members to ensure consistent care delivery Use IT systems to document care activities and update client records where necessary Qualifications Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided Good understanding of care plans and ability to follow instructions accurately Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for effective communication Basic IT skills for documentation purposes Excellent communication skills, empathetic nature, and the ability to build rapport with clients Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a caring environment This role is ideal for individuals passionate about providing compassionate support and making a positive impact on people's lives.
