Job Summary: We are looking for a cohort of Trainee Planners to join Killik & Co in our Mayfair office, to provide technical administrative support to the Wealth Planners while developing the relevant skills, knowledge and competencies required of a future Wealth Planner. The successful postholder will be able to enrol on our internal Adviser Training programme, once they meet the required standards, and work towards becoming a qualified Wealth Planner.

Key Accountabilities:

  • To provide administrative support to the team of Wealth and Financial Planners.
  • To support the Planners in their client work.
  • To build up technical knowledge related to financial planning, relevant products, client administration and reporting, our services and procedures.
  • To learn how to use the Firm's internal systems.
  • To learn about the business and internal departments.
  • Build technical knowledge.

  • Team Working: Shares knowledge, skills and experience with colleagues; understands team goals; is cooperative and supportive of others.

Candidate Profile:

  • At least A-level qualified (or equivalent) is essential.
  • Level 4 CII papers are advantageous.
  • Will have a demonstrable interest in financial planning.
  • Will have at least 12 months experience in a similar financial services environment.
  • Will have prior experience in relationship management or providing excellent customer service.
  • Will have an understanding of the fundamentals of regulated financial advice e.g. suitability documentation, compliance expectations.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset.
  • A proven self-starter with an interest in pursuing a career in Wealth Planning.

Contractual Hours: 9.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday

Hybrid Working: Onsite 5 days – Five days in the office gives the richest learning environment, constant exposure to client discussions, technical conversations, and the expertise around you.
