This is an opportunity to become an integral part of a busy inbound sales team. Offering help and support to pest control companies throughout the UK. All members of the team either hold or are working towards the RSPH Level 2 Certificate in Pest Control. This in-depth training will help you gain knowledge of the products and techniques that pest controller’s use every day, allowing you to offer them assistance.
This inbound team pride themselves on the customer service level they offer their customers. If you are friendly and confident on the telephone and have a keen eye for attention to detail then this is the role for you.
Main function of job
(Note: In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out other duties as may reasonably be required by the Head of Customer Services).
To process sales orders using Sage ERP X3, and handle customer queries and complaints.
The Company reserves the right to make changes to the job title/job description and duties to be undertaken by the job holder from time to time.
• Handle and respond to customer enquires and maintain customer contact via telephone, letter or e-mail.
• Progress and chase sales orders.
• Manage deliveries, purchase orders and maintain stock records.
• Take credit card payments and produce invoices / credit notes.
• Scan customer applications, orders, certificates and warehouse notes.
• Assist customers on product and application problems or seek technical advice on their behalf
• Increase awareness of products
• Confirm stock and pricing with Commercial Manager (where necessary).
• Distribute marketing literature and quotes to customers.
• Liaise with the Despatch Team
• Provide cover on reception operating the main switchboard when needed
• Attend and participate in all company activities, such as Customer Services meetings and training programmes.
• Undertake any additional tasks as requested.
Qualifications/Skills required
• Computer Literacy Skills – previous experience of a Sage system is desirable but not essential
• Customer Service skills
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work on own initiative
• 33 days holiday (inc. bank holidays), 38 days holiday (inc. bank holidays) after 5 years’ service

Product training will be provided including the RSPH Level 2 Certificate in Pest Control
Hours of work: 38.75 hours a week Monday to Friday between 8.00 – 18.00.
