We are looking for Tree Surgeons from the UK to work in Ireland, to help manage timber crews for large scale HV Timber hazard clearance across Ireland and ensure that works are done to client specification and in accordance with SHEQ standards.

Needs to Have:

  • Min 3 years experience in a tree surgeon role
  • At least one year of experience holding an ESB Timber Approval
  • At least one year of experience with an electrical utility
  • All relevant H&S accreditation and certification (i.e. chainsaw, polesaw, climbing certificate)
  • Full Drivers Licence
  • Experience in managing teams in a fast paced and process driven environment
  • IT proficiency - MS Office

Needs to Do:

  • Good knowledge of ESB Network Maps and ESB Timber Company Standards
  • Responsible for site meetings and instructing crew on the daily tasks and highlight site hazards
  • Responsible for ensuring that all relevant site documentation and client paperwork is completed accurately and as per client SLA
  • Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently using KTL/ESB approved work methods in accordance with client specifications
  • Responsible for completing your daily jobs on our system and that all steps in the relevant workflow are followed
