Job Scope We are looking for Overhead Lines Construction QA from the UK to work in Ireland, To ensure that the overhead line construction work is completed to client specification and in accordance with SHEQ standards.
Needs to Have Relevant H&S accreditation and certification (i. e.
Safepass) Full drivers license Overhead Lines experience for LV/MV/HV networks Strong knowledge of how to read a network diagram Experience working on ESB network is essential Excellent communication skills Needs to Do Ensure that construction works are carried out in accordance with specifications and procedures laid out by the client for the network they operate on.
Create and complete a quality audit schedule on field crews on a periodic basis.
Ensure that site safety is maintained to the highest standards.
You must ensure that quality targets are met.
Ensure that all relevant H&S paperwork (JSSP) is completed on site prior to works.
Breaches in safety / Quality on site must be reported to the Project management team Ensure any quality issues are tracked and closed out in a timely manner.
Complete root cause analysis on quality issues identified.
Work with Project Management team and Site Supervisors for quality improvement plans as required Ensure near miss and good catches reporting are met.
Ensure that you are compliant with instructions regarding PPE, use of safety equipment and correct usage of tools and equipment and follow safe working practices at all times.
Ensure that all required certification/ID is held by you and valid, prior to the undertaking of any work that may be required of you in your expected daily duties.
Needs to be willing to travel nationwide in an effort to carry out the required works.
Complete As-Built Patrol using Arc GIS.
Update ESB via My Pole Data App as required.
