Kilkern are a specialist contractor providing infrastructure solutions. We have divisions covering highways and civil engineering contracting, specialist labour supply and operated vacuum excavation.
Kilkern specialist labour hire has an envied reputation for the quality of our workers. We specialise in the safety critical transportation sector including highways, rail, water and utilities. Our workers are employed on major civil engineering projects and long-term frameworks throughout the UK.
Kilkern require a Construction Project Administrator at a major highways project in the North West.
Non exhaustive job spec below:
- Assisting with basic HR duties such as: staff training records, inductions, accreditation management, vehicle management, timesheet/holiday processing etc.
- General office duties, such as answering calls, assisting with office organisation
- Monitor and maintain document control
- Monitoring the site documentation – this includes making sure all documents are saved in the correct location on the shared drive and filing electronic documents/updating Drawings/Preparation of Reports.
- Produce Site Start up folders accurately and on time and the archiving of completed site projects. This will include compiling information to form site O&M Manuals.
- Add and update project information into various client databases/systems
Requirements:
- Confident with using Computers
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Proven ability to work well under pressure
- Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Intermediate IT skills in addition to Excel with Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
- 2 Checkable references
Contract length: 18 months, longer for right applicant
