Kilchoman is looking for a brand and design lead to continue building our visual identity, working closely with our leadership team to shape how the brand shows up across packaging, marketing, and global distribution.
Founded in 2005, Kilchoman is Islay's farm distillery, producing award-winning single malt Scotch whisky with a focus on quality, craftsmanship, and tradition. From growing barley on our family farm to distilling, maturing, and bottling on-site, we oversee every stage of the whisky-making process. As an independent, family-owned distillery, we're passionate about creating exceptional whisky while offering a welcoming, supportive workplace where people can develop and take pride in being part of our journey.
What you'll do:
- Lead creative direction across packaging, print, digital, and experiential brand touchpoints
- Maintain and evolve brand guidelines used by 200+ global distributors
- Manage specialist production processes (foiling, embossing, premium print finishes)
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and leadership
- Brief and manage external freelancers and suppliers as needed
- Support campaign development from concept through final execution
What you'll bring:
- 4+ years' experience in brand identity or packaging design, ideally in drinks, FMCG, or a premium lifestyle category
- Strong typography, layout, and visual systems skills
- Comfort managing production processes and supplier relationships
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to work independently in a small, fast-moving team
