Kilburn & Strode LLP is excited to be running an Open Day on Wednesday 2 July, which will allow attendees to hear more about being a patent attorney, the type of work we do here and give you a taste of life as a trainee at Kilburn & Strode.
Our Open Day will cover:

- Advice for future applications to the firm
- An interactive patent session
- A networking lunch with our trainees and associates
All reasonable travel expenses will be covered.

Our Patent Career Programme offers you the chance to be involved in innovative, exciting inventions outside of the Lab, whilst studying towards your exams to become a qualified UK and European patent attorney.
How to apply: Submit your application via our website by the closing date of Monday 16 June at 9am (GMT). Candidates would be in their penultimate or final year of their undergraduate. Masters and PhD students are also encouraged to apply. We are looking for candidates with a solid scientific background, a strong academic record and a graduate or postgraduate degree in:
- Computer Science – ideally with some experience in AI.
- Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Physics
- Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
You will be asked to fill out a short application which will request a copy of your CV (please upload a PDF document) and ask you to answer a question on why our Open Day interests you.
