Location: Mount Street, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, LN1 3JG. Contract: Permanent. Term: Part-Time/Full-Time. Salary: MPS – UPS + SEN Allowance (depending on experience). Closing Date: 12:00pm, 26 September 2025. Start Date: 01/01/2026. Positions Available: 1. Interview Date: 7 October 2025.

About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SENDCo/class teacher to oversee the school\\\’s strategy for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and to lead our small special educational needs provision. Here at Mount Street Academy we want every child to receive the educational offer they deserve and for every child to reach their full potential. Every student, every lesson, every day.

Part time and full-time applications will be considered for this post. Full time post will include 2 days of teaching responsibility across the school supporting SEND children and planning for the SEND provision. If part-time, the teaching responsibilities will be reduced.

The Successful Candidate Will Be

  • a class teacher with a child-centred and nurturing approach
  • an individual who either has or is prepared to work towards NASENCo/NPQ for SENDCo\\\’s
  • someone who has the ability to meet the needs of all learners
  • a team player
  • organised and able to manage a varied workload
  • able to communicate effectively with staff, parents/carers and outside agencies
