We are a family run care home set in the heart of Rostrevor, at the foot of the Mourne Mountains. We are seeking a reliable and practical maintenance and gardening assistant to support the smooth running and presentation of our care home and surrounding grounds.

Key responsibilities:

  • General maintenance and repairs
  • Maintain gardens, lawns and outdoor spaces to a high standard
  • Grass cutting, hedge trimming
  • Keep pathways and outdoor areas clean and safe
  • Seasonal work (Winter gritting, leaf clearing)
  • Ensure waste is disposed of correctly/recycling
  • Assist with moving/setting up equipment
  • Assist with basic room repairs and painting
  • Liaise with external contractors when required
