We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Relief Healthcare Assistant to join our small, supportive mental health care team at Kilbroney House. This flexible relief role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, values teamwork, and wants to make a genuine difference in people's lives, while maintaining a good work-life balance.
About the Role
You will support adults living with a range of mental health and neurological conditions, including:
- Bipolar Disorder
- Schizophrenia
- Personality Disorders
- Acquired Brain Injury
- Dementia
Care is delivered in a calm, homely environment, with a strong focus on person-centred, respectful, and recovery-focused support.
Hours & Pay
Flexible relief shifts to suit your availability. Up to 44 hours per week available. £15 per hour.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in mental health care is preferred, but not essential (training provided)
- A kind, patient, and non-judgemental approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- A driving licence is preferred, but not essential
- A willingness to learn, develop, and grow within the role
