We are a family run care home set in the heart of Rostrevor, at the foot of the Mourne Mountains. We are seeking a reliable and practical maintenance and gardening assistant to support the smooth running and presentation of our care home and surrounding grounds. Key responsibilities:
- General maintenance and repairs
- Maintain gardens, lawns and outdoor spaces to a high standard
- Grass cutting, hedge trimming
- Keep pathways and outdoor areas clean and safe
- Seasonal work (Winter gritting, leaf clearing)
- Ensure waste is disposed of correctly/recycling
- Assist with moving/setting up equipment
- Assist with basic room repairs and painting
- Liaise with external contractors when required
