Kilbroney House is a small, family run, Mental Health and Nursing care home, set in the Heart of Rostrevor, at the foot of the beautiful and scenic, Mourne Mountains. We are committed to delivering person-centred, holistic care, supporting emotional wellbeing alongside physical health. We are looking to enhance our service through specialist therapeutic input.

We are seeking a HCPC Registered Art Therapist, to provide specialist therapeutic support on a 1:1 basis 2 hours a week.

Essential criteria:
  • Registered with the Health and Care Council (HCPC) (BAAT) British Association of Art Therapists or equivalent
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and/or personality disorders, behaviours that challenge
  • Understanding of trauma informed care
  • Risk awareness and boundaries
  • Enhanced Access NI check required

This is a specialist role, suited to an experienced therapist who is confident working independently within a care home environment while collaborating with the wider care team.
