The Stockroom Manager ensures efficient and accurate management of all stock within the store. This includes delivery processing, stock accuracy, replenishment, stocktaking and coordination of new product launches, guaranteeing product availability while maintaining brand standards and operational excellence.
- Delivery Processing & Stockroom Operations
- Receive, check and process all store deliveries according to KIKO Milano procedures.
- Accurately verify product quantities and quality, reporting any discrepancies or damages as per procedure.
- Ensure all incoming stock is labelled, organized and stored efficiently to facilitate replenishment and minimize handling time.
- Maintain a clean, organized and compliant stockroom in line with Retail Excellence standards and ensure everyone works in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
- Inventory Management & Stock Accuracy
- Take full accountability for all stock within the store, ensuring levels are accurate and up to date.
- Conduct and oversee cycle counts and annual stocktake to achieve 100% inventory accuracy.
- Monitor and analyse stock movements to identify business critical stock levels and prevent out of stocks.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies promptly.
- Replenishment & Product Availability
- Manage and execute daily replenishment of the shopfloor, drawers and tables.
- Ensure bestsellers and key categories are always available to meet customer demand.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to forecast stock needs and optimize space utilization.
- New Product & Seasonal Launches
- Coordinate new product and seasonal launches to ensure all stock and POP materials are received, processed and displays set up and available for launch.
- Verify new SKUs are accurately set up in systems and launches reflect brand guidelines.
- Partner with Store Management teams to deliver flawless execution.
- Obsolete, Damaged & Expired Stock Management
- Identify and report obsolete, damaged products in line with company policy.
- Manage product write off processes accurately and efficiently.
- Analyse trends and propose actions to Store Manager to reduce obsolete stock and improve sell through.
- Leadership & Compliance
- Train, lead and motivate the store team to maintain high standards of efficiency and stock accuracy.
- Ensure adherence to KIKO Milano policies, including stock handling and loss prevention.
- Continuously identify opportunities to streamline stockroom processes and improve performance.
- Proactively manage stock accuracy, out of stocks and obsoletes, escalating potential business risks to Store Manager.
Minimum of 4 years experience in stockroom management. Demonstrated ability to lead a team and prioritize tasks. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in inventory management systems. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
