KIKIT is a social enterprise with over 25 years of experience supporting people from hard-to-reach and marginalised communities, including but not limited to Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic communities.

While KIKIT focuses on BAME communities, services are open to anyone in need, regardless of background, faith, or culture.

The organisation delivers innovative community-based activities and structured treatment programmes to address substance misuse, within treatment and recovery.

KIKIT provides culturally sensitive, multilingual support and works in partnership with local grassroots organisations, faith-based communities, and neighbourhood forums to reflect the lived experience and values of local people.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Birmingham for a Substance Misuse Programme & Groups Facilitator.

The facilitator will deliver structured group programmes and workshops focused on substance misuse, recovery, and wellbeing, using evidence-informed and culturally sensitive approaches.

Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and coordinating group sessions, conducting assessments, maintaining accurate records, and providing ongoing support and signposting to relevant services.

The role involves close collaboration with colleagues, partner organisations, and community and faith-based groups to ensure that programmes are accessible and tailored to diverse communities.

The facilitator will also contribute to outreach activities, continuous service improvement, and feedback processes to help shape effective recovery pathways.
