As a key member of the Kigtek team, you will be responsible for developing and expanding our market presence in the automation and control systems sector. This is a client-facing role that requires you to identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and work closely with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions that add value to our clients' operations.

Responsibilities
  • Business Development and Market Expansion — Proactively identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities; develop and implement strategies to enter new markets and expand the Company's service offerings; conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on trends, competition, and opportunities within the systems integration industry.
  • Client Relationship Management — Build, maintain, and deepen relationships with key clients and decision-makers; serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing clients, ensuring their business needs are met through our integration solutions; work with clients to understand their operational challenges, IT infrastructure needs, and technology gaps, then recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth — Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve the Business Unit's Revenue and Profitability Targets; manage and nurture the sales pipeline, driving the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing; create and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals and RFPs to potential clients.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams — Collaborate with technical, engineering, and project management teams to ensure smooth project execution and alignment with client expectations; work with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns that align with business development goals; provide input into solution development to ensure alignment with client needs, including identifying gaps in the Company's current offerings.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management — Lead the negotiation of contracts, terms and pricing with prospective clients, ensuring that agreements meet both client and company objectives; manage the proposal process, ensuring that RFPs and bids are submitted in a timely and professional manner.
  • Strategic Planning and Forecasting — Provide regular updates on sales activity, pipeline development, and revenue forecasts to senior management; develop and track key performance indicators related to business development, sales performance, and client satisfaction; contribute to the overall strategic direction of the Company by providing insights on market trends, competitive activities, and new opportunities.
  • Client and Project Handover — Oversee the handoff process to project management and operations teams after contracts are signed, ensuring that client expectations are well-communicated; stay engaged with clients post-handover to monitor satisfaction and identify future business opportunities.
  • General — Ensure all relevant Health and Safety procedures are adhered to; maintain company records and ensure safe operation of all equipment to comply with current legislative and company standards; follow all relevant business procedures; carry out other duties as required and appropriate to the role.
Skills And Experience
  • Qualified to Diploma/degree level in a relevant discipline and with significant experience in business development, sales or account management within the system integration sector or related technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated technical and commercial experience gained in a range of relevant market sectors and technologies.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to understand technical solutions and effectively communicate their value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
